Hello, I’m Audrey Kasinger, founder of AUDHUS, a design studio and workshop on Florence Island in Washington State, where I design and build small batch furniture and objects by hand.
My work reflects an appreciation for restraint, utility, and quiet clarity, influenced in part by my Scandinavian roots and longstanding interest in Nordic design traditions.
Guided by an architectural foundation, these values shape my approach to making informing a sensitivity to structure and space, as well as a careful consideration of proportion, joinery, and the relationship between parts.
